Injury Prevention
As with any sport, it’s important to keep those muscles, bones and joints in good working condition so you can keep playing that sport. Running is no exception and because of the repetitive nature of the sport does see its fair share of injuries. Because of that and because we know you want to keep running and not spend your time sidelined, the Chicago Area Runners Association works with NovaCare Rehabilitation to provide a hotline for its runners to seek medical advice and/or treatment when necessary. Here you can also find some information NovaCare has provided on some of the common running-related injuries.
