A Chicago native I was born in and grew up in Hyde Park. I Graduated from the University of Chicago High School and then Dartmouth College with a BA in Political Science and French. I began a career in Finance working on the Chicago Board of Trade for various firms and was offered a position to work on the London Stock Exchange which I accepted. I lived and worked in London for over 20 years initially as a trader for what is now Bank of America and finally for companies providing software solutions to the financial community including Bloomberg and Thompson Reuters. I traded financial products as a qualified trader on the Chicago Board of Trade, The Chicago Mercantile Exchange, The London Stock Exchange and The London International Financial Futures Exchange. I have also always been active in sports having competed in Track and Field from the time I attended High School. I represented the USA in Masters Athletics at the World Championships in Finland in 2011 and in Hungary in 2014 finishing 4th overall in the 400 meters and winning a Bronze medal as part of the USA 4 x 200 meter relay team. While in London I took part in over 120 park runs and completed 3 London Marathons and 2 London Olympic Distance Triathlons as well as the Barcelona Triathlon. I also assisted in coaching the Trayport corporate mile relay team for 2 years. I have recently returned to the U.S. and will continue to work in fitness as well as a financial consultant.
