Meet Jessica

Six Series Group Leader and Runner Extraordinaire!

1. How long have you been running and what motivated you to start?

My interest in running has grown over the past 8 years.I played organized club soccer and running was just part of the game. After I finished my career with soccer, running helped me maintain my active lifestyle and competitive drive. I began running longer distances and participating in half marathons. I participated in my first half marathon with my mom. My mom has always been an avid runner, she has run in over 15 half marathons and 3 full marathons, she was a big motivation when getting involved in running.

2. What's your favorite part of leading the Six Series runs?

My favorite part of leading the Six Series runs is getting a chance to meet all of the runners in the group. I have only lived in Chicago for a year and I really enjoy being able to check out the different Chicago neighborhoods and meeting new people along the way.

3. What do you do for a living?

I work at the NovaCare Rehabilitation Andersonville clinic as a Physical Therapist. I recieved my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Dayton. I also perform DorsaVi AMI testing (AMI- Athletic Movement Index).
