CARA's expert coaching staff offers four levels of training solutions to help your running and wellness goals. 

  • Personal Coaching:
    • Register Now - Regular communication with a CARA coach, customized training plan, full access to CARA's group training and much more. 
  • Customized Training Plan:
  • Virtual Training Plan:
    • Register Now - Follow a CARA 8 to 18 week training plan (beginning running - Half Marathon - Marathon). 
  • In-Person Coach Sessions:
    • Register Now - Meet in-person with a CARA coach individually, or in a group of up to four persons for a private in-person coaching session. 

Personal Coaching & Training Plans 

Fees:

  • Personal Coaching: $150 per month (3-month minimum)
  • Customized Training Plan: $120 for 12-18 week plan ($25 per additional month)
  • Virtual Training Plan: $30 Beginning Running, $40 Half Marathon, $50 Marathon (other plans TBA)
  • In-Person Coaching Sessions:
    • One-Person: 1 Hour Session $50, each additional 30 minutes is $25.
    • Two-Persons: 1 Hour Session $85, each additional 30 minutes is $40.
    • Three-Persons: 1 Hour Session $125, each additional 30 minutes is $60.
    • Four-Persons: 1 Hour Session $165, each additional 30 minutes is $80.

Process: Personal Coaching & Customized Training Plan

  1. Choose the training/coaching solution that fits your needs and complete the online registration process.
  2. CARA coach will follow-up within 1-week to set-up an initial consultation appointment.
  3. CARA coach will develop your custom designed training program and send it to you within 1-week of your initial consultation.
  4. Personal Coaching Only: A CARA coach will connect with you throughout each week to optimize your training and available at CARA group training.

Process: Virtual Training

  1. Choose the appropriate training plan based on your goal/event (beginning running; 1/2 marathon; marathon).
  2. CARA coach will follow-up with you to confirm your training plan and then e-mail you your training program. 

Process: In-Person Coaching

  1. E-Mail training@cararuns.org to schedule your in-person coaching session. 
  2. Once scheduled your coach will direct you to register and pay your coaching fee.
  3. CARA coach will follow-up with you to confirm your session.

*CARA Training All Access Pass:  full access to all CARA group training sessions (Wednesday speed training; Saturday long runs) and opportunity to communicate directly with your coach.  Discounted entries to CARA events (Lakefront 10 Miler and 5k , Ready to Run 20 Miler , Marathon VIP, and Six Series).
