CARA People

Meet Alma

I finished with a time of 4:36.28 and could not have done it without you guys (and without my sister Nimbe who was awesome and ran along with me the whole way)! My training got a little bit rough towards the end of the season because school got so busy, so I was procrastinating with training a bit, but I am so thankful that you guys were always so motivating and inspirational.

Meet John

Last year I followed an intermediate training schedule with 46 miles being the most I would run in one week. My goal was 3:30 and I ran 3:29:53. I was happy with that time and didn't really think I could improve upon that. I once had a goal of qualifying for Boston but I am 38 and my qualifying time had to be 3:10. Shaving another 20 minutes off my time didn't seem realistic.
