Injured Runner
What is Fluid Running?

Fluid Running is a revolutionary sport-specific training option that can help maintain your running fitness while you recover from an injury or nagging pain.

By supplementing your normal land running with water running, you can reduce the impact on your joints and muscles while still maintaining endurance, strength, and cardiovascular fitness. The program is guided by coached audio workouts delivered through waterproof Bluetooth headphones that helps you stay on track with challenging, effective sessions—even when land running isn’t possible. Whether used as a preventative measure or a recovery tool, Fluid Running helps runners stay healthy and strong!

Fluid Running has worked in conjunction with CARA to develop training plans for participants who get injured. Runners who sign up for the Summer Marathon Training Program will have the opportunity to access the CARA/Fluid Running Training Program. This program will include plans to accommodate runners who have acute injuries, to those experiencing pain during or after running.
