FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHICAGO – The Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA) is excited to announce a new partnership with Fluid Running, making it an Official Cross-Training Partner of CARA. Fluid Running’s innovative deep water running system will be featured as part of CARA’s training programs and member education initiatives throughout 2025, providing runners with an effective, zero-impact way to train, recover, and stay fit.

"We are thrilled to partner with Fluid Running," said Tim Bradley, CARA Executive Director. "This collaboration highlights our shared commitment to supporting runners with safe, high-quality training tools. Whether it’s recovering from an injury, cross-training, or simply adding variety to a training routine, Fluid Running offers an exceptional solution to help runners reach their goals while minimizing the risk of injury."

Fluid Running is the only app-based deep water running workout system, designed to deliver a high-intensity, zero-impact workout suitable for runners of all levels. Using flotation gear, participants simulate land running in the deep end of a pool, improving cardiovascular fitness and strength without the stress on joints caused by traditional weight-bearing activities. The Fluid Running audio workouts, delivered through waterproof Bluetooth headphones, guide you through challenging, structured sessions, ensuring you maintain your running fitness even when land running isn’t possible. Fluid Running has been endorsed by leading physicians and physical therapists and is widely used by athletes recovering from injuries or looking for an alternative to pounding the pavement.

Jennifer Conroyd, founder of Fluid Running, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, saying, "CARA has been a pillar of the running community in Chicago, and we are honored to collaborate with them. At Fluid Running, we’re passionate about helping runners stay healthy, train smarter, and perform better. Together with CARA, we’re excited to show runners how deep water running can be a game-changing part of their training regimen.”

About CARA: CARA is Chicago's preeminent running community, providing accessible opportunities for all runners to learn, be social, volunteer, train and race.
