Chicago Area Runners Association Announces Key Races on 2026 Chicago Racing Circuit

The Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA) is excited to announce the following key 2026 Chicago Racing Circuit events listed below. The landscape of distance running includes races that are selling out faster than ever, so runners are encouraged to sign up now for events currently open and to register as soon as registration opens for the remaining races.
Sunday, March 22 -Â Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8KÂ (Chicago)
Sunday, April 12 - CARA Lakefront 10 Miler (Chicago)
Sunday, April 26 -Â The Good Life Race 5KÂ (Oak Park)
Sunday, May 17 - Â Spring Trail Chase 10KÂ (Lemont)
Sunday, June 7 - Â Bank of America Chicago 13.1Â (Chicago)
Saturday, July 4 -  Elmhurst Running Club 4 on the 4th (Elmhurst)
Saturday, July 18 - PUMA's Chi-Town Miles 1 Mile (Chicago)
Saturday, September 12 - Hidden Gem Half Marathon (Flossmoor)
Sunday, October 11 - Bank of America Chicago Marathon (Chicago)
The entire 2026 schedule will be released at a later date and will include the full 15 race schedule. Once again, runners are encouraged to sign up now for events that currently have registration open and should plan to register as soon as registration opens for the remaining races.

The Chicago Racing Circuit by CARA provides a competitive structure and recognition for Chicagoland runners and clubs. The Circuit annually honors Chicagoland’s top runners and clubs with Runner of the Year and Club Champion titles.
